Spearhead’s ” Hawaiian style” Pale Ale has been at the LCBO in bottles for a little while now. It seems it has gone over really well as last night was the first time I was able to pick some up. As the shelves were bare the last several times I went looking for it. I have had the Pale ale several times before in bars and pubs all over Toronto. this is the first time I had it out of the bottle. it translated really well. The splash of pineapple flavour distracting the bitter hop character making for a very refreshing ale. It’s not severely hoppy nor wipe out it’s hop characteristics. It’s very clean and easy drinking and quite well suited for summer drinking.

But, don’t take my word for it. Drink the beer !
